Upon arriving Beijing, you will be met by our professional local guide at the
Beijing International Airport. Then we shall proceed to the Palace Museum - the
Forbidden City, Tian An Men Square - the well-known largest square in the world,
the Summer Palace - the largest imperial garden in China, and the Temple of
Heaven - where the Ming and Qing emperors conducted the annual ceremony to pray
to the Heaven for a good harvest. This evening you will enjoy a Chinese
acrobatic show with delicious dinner.

Full day excursion outside of Beijing to the remarkable Great Wall and legendary
Ming Tombs - the last resting place of 13 emperors. Tonight's special dinner
gives you a real taste of the famous Peking Duck.

After breakfast we shall fly to one of China's ancient capital - Xi'an. Upon
arrival we visit the Wild Goose Pagoda and ancient city wall. A dumpling feast
is arranged for tonight's dinner.

Xi'an was the capital of China for 11 dynasties extending over 1000 years. We
are going to visit the amazing Terra Cotta Warriors - thousands of life-size
clay warriors, horses and chariots which were part of the tomb of the first
emperor of Qin Dynasty, dicovered in 1974 by a farmer who was digging a well.
Afterward we shall visit the Huaqing Hot Spring and enjoy a Tang Dynasty dance
performance.

XI'AN - SHANGHAI - SUZHOU (B/L/D) |

In the morning we are taking a domestic flight to Shaghai - a modern city with
more than 14 million population. Enjoy your lunch after arrival then take a city
tour including the Yu Garden, Nan Pu Bridge and Oriental TV Tower. In the
evening our tour bus will proceed to Suzhou.

Day 8 |
SUZHOU - WATERTOWN (TONGLI) - HANGZHOU (B/L/D) |

Suzhou, known as "Venice of the East", is built around the Grand Canal. We shall
stop at the Tiger Hill - generally considered the No.1 historical monument in
the Wu region. The hill has been the favourite place for poets, writers and
painters in various times The hill is of moderate height but has large number of
historical relics. The 1000-year-old leaning pagoda atop is looked upon as the
landmark of Suzhou. We shall then proceed to Hanshan Temple. The temple has won
great reputation worldwide because of the well-known poems by the Tang poet
Zhang Ji a thousand years ago. For the last ten years, the Bell-Tolling Ceremony
on New Year's Eve at Hanshan Temple has become a special tour item of sustained
popularity. Later our tour will go along the Watertown (Tongli) and proceed to
Hangzhou.

HANGZHOU - SHANGHAI (B/L/D) |

China's poets have praised Hangzhou as a paradise on the earth. We are going to
take a cruise on the famous Xi Hu (West Lake), then visit the majestic Ling Yin
Temple (Temple of Inspired Seclusion), which houses an 82-feet Buddha carved
from camphor wood. After the tour our bus will head Northeast to Shanghai.

SHANGHAI - WUXI ( B,L,D ) |

In the morning we shall tour the Yu Garden - a celebrated Ming Dynasty-era
garden, Nan Pu Bridge and the famous Cheng Huang Temple. Then we proceed to Wuxi
in the afternoon and visit the Taihu Lake Scenery Zone. We shall stop at
Meiliang Lake area which is a bay of Taihu Lake covering around 124 square
miles. It is the best part of the Taihu Lake Scenery Zone with Turtle Head Islet
as its main part.

Day 11 |
WUXI - ZHENJIANG - YANGZHOU (B/L/D) |

We are going to the Xihui Park in the morning. Xihui Park is located at the west
of Wuxi City between Xishan Hill and Huishan Hill: hence the park name. As it
looks like a moving dragon, Huishan Hill is called "the first hill south of the
Yangtze River", while Xishan Hill is like a bright pearl on the dragon's head:
hence the beautiful name of "the moving dragon playing with the pearl". Inside
the park we also visit the "No.2 Spring Under Heaven". After the Xihui Park we
proceed to Zhenjiang and visit the Golden Mountain Temple. Then we cross the
Yangtze River and reach Yangzhou.

YANGZHOU - NANJING (B/L/D) |

Yangzhou was a economical and cultural centre of the ancient Southern China. We
shall visit Shou Xi Hu - it got its name during the Qing Dynasty, which it
resembled a slender version of Xi Hu (West Lake) of Hangzhou. Then our tour will
head West to Nanjing. Upon arrival we visit Dr. Sun Yat-Sen's Mausoleum in the
morning - built with the mountain terrain, this is the tomb of one of the
greatest revolutionary forerunner. Then we are going to Confucius Temple and
Zhonghua Gate.

NANJING - GUILIN (B/L/D) |

We take a morning flight to Guilin and explore her fascinating landscape formed
by limestones. The scenery of Guilin has been called the finest under heaven.
Situated in the Northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Guilin City is
South China's shining pearl, with verdant mountains, elegant waters, magnificent
crags and fantastic caverns.

Cruise down the Li River today, you will be attracted by the fabulous natural
scenery of Guilin. Limestone spires rising out of the flat ground, with often
perpendicular cliffs and trees sprouting from the cracks to bend skyward -
absolutely a marvelous view you can hardly find anywhere else. We also visit the
Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill and Folded Brocade Hill on the way back to
Guilin downtown. A Guilin traditional dance performance is arranged for your
enjoyment tonight.

After breakfast we are going to Guangzhou. Upon arrival, city tour of the 72
Martyrs Mausoleum at Huanghuagang, Dr. Sun Yet-Sen's Memorial Hall, and the Yue
Xiu Park is arranged. Later we shall proceed to Hong Kong by express train, and
the rest of day is free for your own leisure activities. (dinner excluded
tonight)
