Upon arriving Beijing, you will be met by our professional local guide at the
Beijing International Airport. Then we shall proceed to the Palace Museum - the
Forbidden City, Tian An Men Square - the well-known largest square in the world,
the Summer Palace - the largest imperial garden in China, and the Temple of
Heaven - where the Ming and Qing emperors conducted the annual ceremony to pray
to the Heaven for a good harvest. This evening you will enjoy a Chinese
acrobatic show with delicious dinner.

Visit one of the wonders of the world - the remarkable Great Wall in the
morning, then proceed to Datong by train; enjoy the beautiful view on the way.

DATONG - MT.WUTAI (B/L/D) |

Datong, the second largest city in Shanxi Province, situated in the far north,
near the border with Inner Mongolia. We shall visit the famous Yungang Grottoes
and Nine Dragon Screen before going to Mt. Wutai by bus.

Visit the the Xiantong Temple and the Bodhisattva Peak of Mt. Wutai, then our
tour will head to Taiyuan in the afternoon.

Taiyuan, a historic city in the north, is the provincial capital of Shanxi. It
is rich in minerals and agricultural produce as well as beautiful in scenery.
The city is in the central Shanxi plain surrounded by mountains with the Feng
river running through it so that the climate is temperate.

TAIYUAN - BEIJING - CHENGDE (B/L/D) |

We shall take an early flight back to Beijing, then transfer to Chengde by bus.
Chengde, located at the Northeastern Hebei Province and is the site of the
summer resort of the Qing emperors.

Visit the summer resort of the Qing emperors - Mountain Resort - today. The
magnificent Mountain Resort and the 12 Buddhist temples at its periphery were
built during the Qing Dynasty. It served as the second political center of the
Qing imperial court and the emperors of the early Qing Dynasty often spent their
summers there, conducting state affairs and engaging in important political
activities. The construction of the Mountain Resort took place over a period of
90 years-starting from the 42nd year of Emperor Kangxi's reign (1703), rebuilt
and expanded during the reign of Emperor Qianlong, and completed in the 57th
year of Emperor Qianlong's reign (1792). It is China's largest existing imperial
garden - double the size of the Summer Palace, and eight times of Beihai Park in
Beijing. We also visit the Universal Peace Temple (Buddha Temple)and the Putuo
Zongsheng (small Potala Palace) before returning to Beijing by bus.

BEIJING - HOHHOT (B/L/D) |

In the morning we fly to Hohhot, the capital of The Inner Mongolia Autonomous
Region. Hohhot means "blue city" in Mongolian. In early 16th century, a
Mongolian troop, under the leadership of Helatan Khan, marched into this area
and started to establish a town here in 1581. You may go to Mongolia Steppe,
taste the Mongolian goat milk, watch horse racing on the big grass plain, visit
Aobao Hill and enjoy the fascinating sunset. You will stay in the traditional
Meng Gu Bao (yurt) tonight.

We are heading to Baotou by bus in the morning, visiting the curious Noisy Sand
Bay and having a lot of interesting activities on the desert.

BAOTOU - HOHHOT - BEIJING (B/L/D) |

Return to Hohhot in the morning and visit the Mausoleum of Zhaojun, which is
called Green "Grave" of "Tmur Urhu" in Mongolian. It is said that it is the tomb
of Wang Zhaojun - a maid in the imperial palace of the Emperor Yuan Di of the
Han Dynasty - volunteered to marry the chief Huhanye of Xiongnu Horde as a peace
envoy. Later on we shall visit the Province Museum before flying back to
Beijing.
